The Lady Bears held a 30-27 lead at the break behind some great shooting, as Spring Hill knocked down 5 first half threes. Neither team could score in the 3rd quarter, as both just managed to get 7 points each. Spring Hill would turn a 3-point lead into a 10 point lead at one point in the 4th, but the Lady Rattlers cut into late, but some clutch buckets from Ava McBrayer and Anna Flowers propelled the Lady Bears to a 58-51 win.
Ava McBrayer led the Lady Bears with another double-double, as she poured in 19 points and was very good on the glass for Spring Hill. Anna Flowers got hot in the 2nd half, as she knocked down six 3-pointers total to finish the night with 18 points. Knightley Porter had a great game, scoring 13 points. Both Layla Cantwell and Laney Flowers scored 3 each and Zoey Varner finished the game with 2. With the win, the Lady Bears improve to 3-5 in conference play.
Spring Hill is back in action on Tuesday as they host Mountain Pine.
