Hope- The Lady Bears traveled to Garrett Memorial on Tuesday night for a game with the Lady Saints. GMCS would take a 4-1 lead into the 4th inning, but it was all Lady Bears after that. Spring Hill would score 2 in the 4th, 5 in the 5th, and 6 in the 6th to pull away from the Lady Saints and win 16-7. Cami Porter led the way at the plate with 5 hits, including a triple. Cami drove in 3 runs as well for the Lady Bears. Zoey Varner and Livi Tyree each had a 3-hit night, including both of them having a triple. Ava McBrayer, Emma Rhodes, Baili Butler, and Carly Foster each had 2 hits for the Lady Bears. Emma Rhodes picked up the win out of the pitchers circle and struck out 4 batters. Charity Zumwalt would have a great day at the plate for GMCS as she racked up 4 hits, including a double. Mikayla Fields, Silbi Jones, and Kynlee Glass each had 2 hits for the Lady Saints. Silbi Jones, Mikayla Fields, Charity Zumwalt, and Raylee Adkison each drove in runs for the Lady Saints. Silbi Jones took the loss and struck out 8 Lady Bears.
