Lady Bears Drop Close Game to Bradley 3-2
Spring Hill- In a game that runs were hard to come by, the Bradley Bears would push across 2 runs late to take a 3-2 lead in the top of the 7th inning, those 2 runs would prove to be the difference in the game. Spring Hill would have the tying and go-ahead runs on base in the bottom of the 7th inning, but would fly out to end the game. Both pitchers were outstanding on Monday night, as Emma Rhodes pitched all 7 innings for Spring Hill, scattering 3 runs on 7 hits, and striking out 5. The Bears defense played well behind Rhodes, committing just 1 error.

The Lady Bears would bang out 5 hits and draw 2 walks against the Bradley pitching, including singles from Ava McBrayer, Cami Porter, Carly Foster, Emma Rhodes, and Baili Butler. Porter would have 2 RBIs and Butler would also draw a walk and steal a base. Darby Coffee would draw the other Spring Hill walk.

The Lady Bears will travel to Taylor on Tuesday for a non-conference matchup with the Lady Tigers.
