Lady Bears Drop Close Game to Mountain Pine
Mountain Pine- Spring Hill headed to Mountain Pine in search of a 2-0 start to league play on Tuesday night. In a game that was close the entire way through, the Lady Bears just could not get ahold of the lead, as Mountain Pine went on to win a close one 49-46. 

Trailing by 3 at the break, Spring Hill and Mountain Pine traded basket for basket the entire 2nd half. The Lady Bears are now 1-1 in conference play. 

Ava McBrayer led the Lady Bears in scoring with 18 points. Knightley Porter scored 11 points, as both McBrayer and Porter have been playing very well all season. Anna Flowers scored 8 points, including a pair of 3-pointers for Spring Hill. Layla Cantwell scored 6 points, Laney Flowers scored 2, and Emma Murphy added 1 point. 

Spring Hill will host Horatio in a big conference game on Friday night, as they will look to improve to 2-1 in conference play.
