Acorn- The Lady Bears hit the road and headed out to Acorn to take on the Tigers on Thursday night. The offense from both teams showed up as 24 combined runs were scored in the game. Acorn scored 9 in the first inning and the Lady Bears fought hard but could not overcome that early deficit. Zoey Varner had herself a night as she blasted a 2-run HR and ended her night with a HR, a double, and 6 RBI. Baili Butler smashed a double and added 2 singles as she had a 3-hit night at the plate. Mazie Calhoun had 2 hits for the Lady Bears, Emma Rhodes had a single and 2 RBI. Livi Tyree and Alyssa Porter each had singles for Spring Hill. The Lady Bears are back in action on Monday as they host Dierks.
