Lady Bears Drop Game to Lady Lions 54-41
Spring Hill- The Lady Bears (5-3) hosted the Lady Lions from Bismarck on Tuesday in a non-conference game. In a tight first half, the Lady Bears were trailing by 5 after the opening quarter, but would outscore Bismarck in the 2nd quarter by 1 to cut their deficit to 24-20 at the half. 

The Lady Lions would explode in the third quarter, as they outscored Spring Hill 22-7 in the third quarter, as that would prove to be the difference in the game. The Lady Bears would win the final quarter 14-8, but drop the game 54-41. In an off-shooting night for the Lady Bears, were less than 30% of their shots fell, it was a tough task as Bismarck shot around 50%. 

Kenzie Thompson would lead the way with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Darby Coffee and Livi Tyree each scored 5 points, with each grabbing 4 rebounds. Ava McBrayer and Andrea Zacarias each scored 4, Laney Flowers scored 3 points, and Layla Cantwell, Emma Murphy, and Emma Rhodes each scoring 2 points. Zoey Varner added a free throw. 

In the Jr. Girls game, the Lady Bears had a 15-14 lead at the half and extended the lead to 22-18 going into the final quarter. The Jr. Lady Lions scored 11 points in the final quarter to come back and beat Spring Hill late 29-27. Knightley Porter led all scorers with 15 points, with Jorgia Coffee scoring 4 points. Raegan Cato added 3 points, Madi Vickers and Lola Coffee scored 2 points, and LK Tuttle added 1 point. 

The Lady Bears are back in action on Friday as they head to Murfreesboro for their conference opener.
