Greenland- Spring Hill saw their great season come to an end Thursday in the first round of the State Tournament as they lost to McCrory 12-2. Not much went the way the Lady Bears wanted it to go, as too many self-inflicted wounds were too much to overcome at the end of the game. Camryn Dickson led the Lady Bears with 2 hits and an RBI. Erin McMaster added an RBI triple and Livi Tyree smacked a single for Spring Hill. Cally Sullivan would reach on a walk and use her speed to swipe a bag and score on a Camryn Dickson hit. Though the season did not end the way the team, coaches, and fans wanted it too, the girls had a great season as they won the District Tournament, placed 2nd in the Regional Tournament, and advanced to State. Spring Hill had a great group of seniors this year ( Cally Sullivan, Erin McMaster, Camryn Dickson, Emily Link, Naomi Gabrielsen), as they set the tone for the returning players to come back next year and make a return trip to the State Tournament. Also, great job by Coaches Jerry McMaster and Reyn Brown. We here at SWARK want to say congratulations on a great season Lady Bears.
