Lady Bears Fight Until the End, Fall to Rison
Lance Hawley

Fordyce-  The Lady Bears traveled to Fordyce for their first-round regional tourney matchup Thursday night. Resilient is the word that best describes this group of Lady Bears this season. They are never out of a game with the amount of grit and determination they exhibit on the court. Trailing by 10 points after the first quarter, they outscored Rison by 5 points in the second quarter to cut into the deficit. At one point in the third quarter they took the lead, leading to a back and forth game towards the end. Towards the end of the game buckets were hard to come by for the Lady Bears, leading to a 52-43 loss. Blakelee Adams torched the nets for 18 points, leading the Lady Bears offensively. Camryn Dickson and Libby Flowers both scored 8 points each.
