Horatio- The Lady Bears traveled to Horatio for a conference game, timely hits, aggressive baserunning, and a stellar pitching performance from Erin McMaster secured the 5-1 Spring Hill victory. The Lady Bears had a big 7thinning scoring 3 insurance runs. McMaster finished her night allowing only 1 run, 4 hits, and striking out 6 to earn the win. Cally Sullivan was fast and furious on the bases with 4 stolen bags, as well as adding an RBI single at the plate. Cami Porter led the way with 2 hits for the Lady Bears and scored twice. Ava McBrayer and Camryn Dickson each had doubles. McBrayer had an RBI and Dickson drew 2 walks to reach base 3 times Friday night. Kelsie Thompson had a single and 2 stolen bases. With the win the Lady Bears improve to 2-1 in conference play. Spring Hill softball is back in action Tuesday as they travel to Nevada County to take on the Lady Jays.
