In the third quarter, the Lady Bears defense put the clamps down on the Lady Gators offense, only allowing 6 points, while scoring 14 points to extend the lead to 38-24. Spring Hill would pitch a shutout in the final quarter and run away from Foreman, grabbing a 59-24 win.
Ava McBrayer led the way with 14 points. Kenzie Thompson scored 12 points, as she continues to be a very consistent scorer for the Lady Bears. Anna Flowers mad 3 3-pointers and finished the game with 9 points. Livi Tyree and Layla Cantwell each scored 6, Zoey Varner added 4 points, Andrea Zacarias and Emma Murphy each scored 3, and Darby Coffee scored 2.
In the Jr. Girls game, the Lady Bears blew out the Lady Gators 43-15 behind a great defensive outing, allowing no more than 5 points in any quarter throughout the game. Knightley Porter torched the nets for 13 points, including two 3-pointers. LK Tuttle poured in 11 points, Madi Vickers scored 7, Lilly Cox scored 4, Sophie Robb, Ella Flowers, and Chloe Cobb each scored 2 points, and Lola Coffee and Jade Joy each scored 1 point.
Spring Hill will be back in action on Friday as they travel to Dierks.
