Lady Bears Play in DMAC Tourney this Weekend
Hope- The Lady Bears played three games this weekend in the D-MAC tournament, as they finished the weekend with a 1-2 record. Spring Hill beat Emerson on Saturday, and dropped games to Arkadelphia and Magnolia. Below are the stats for the games.

Spring Hill 9         Emerson 7

The Lady Bears would win in extra innings on Saturday against the Lady Pirates from Emerson on a big RBI double from Ava McBrayer, who would later be brought home on a ground ball off the bat of Baili Butler to give Spring Hill a two-run lead. Spring Hill would commit a few errors in the game, but the pitching from Cami Porter and Emma Rhodes did a great job of working hard and minimizing the runs for Emerson. Baili Butler would drive in three runs for Spring Hill to lead the Lady Bears in run production. Ava McBrayer would have a great game as she reached base in all three of her ABs, with a double, single, and a walk. McBrayer also drove in two runs. Cami Porter would have two RBIs for the Lady Bears. Alyssa Porter, Zoey Varner, and Sarah Poindexter each had key hits for the Lady Bears. Cami Porter and Emma Rhodes would each strike out two batters each from the pitcher's circle.

Spring Hill 3         Arkadelphia 11

The Lady Bears piled up seven hits, but had a tough time manufacturing runs on Thursday night. Carly Foster had two singles for the Lady Bears and an RBI, and Baili Butler added an RBI single. Ava McBrayer smashed a double and Emma Rhodes also roped a double for Spring Hill. Livi Tyree and Zoey Varner each had hits for the Lady Bears.

Spring Hill 1        Magnolia 8

The Lady Bears played Magnolia early on Saturday as they would drop a game to a tough opponent 8-1. Spring Hill would only manage three hits and could not take advantage of four errors from Magnolia.
