Lady Bears Roar Past Centerpoint

Lance Hawley

Spring Hill- The Lady Bears had their way Tuesday as they run-ruled Centerpoint 15-0 after 3 innings of play. Erin McMaster was excellent as she allowed just 1 hit and zero walks while striking out 5 in 3 innings of work to earn the win. The offense banged out 9 hits and drew 5 walks, swiped 4 bags, and even 2 Lady Bears wore a couple of pitches to reach base as the offense was firing on all cylinders. Ava McBrayer led the way offensively as she ripped a double, a single, and drew a walk as she reached base in all 3 of her plate appearances while driving in 4 runs. McMaster had 2 hits and 2 RBIs as she had a great night at the plate. Cally Sullivan, Camryn Dickson, Livi Tyree, Emily Link, and Kelsie Thompson each had hits for the Lady Bears. Thompson and Link each drove in 2 runs as well. Clean game defensively for Spring Hill as they displayed great defense Tuesday night. The Lady Bears are back in action Friday as they host Acorn.
