The Lady Bears held their opponents shooting under 27% from the field and forced 22 turnovers and had 5 blocked shots in their 56-35 win.
On the offensive end of the floor, Livi Tyree torched the nets with 21 points, including three 3-pointers. Tyree also added 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals. Kenzie Thompson was also in double-figures with 10 points. Thompson grabbed 6 rebounds and had 6 steals. Andrea Zacarias had a great all-around game with 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks, including two made 3pt shots. Layla Cantwell scored 7 points and had 2 assists, as well as one of the bigger plays of the game, as she put the finishing touches on the game with a big steal and layup to ruin any hopes of a comeback for the Lady Rattlers. Ava McBrayer scored 6 points and Anna Flowers added 4 points.
Great team win for the Lady Bears, as they got back on track with a big home win. After the game Livi Tyree spoke on the win, "It feels great after losing some games, we're back healthy, we've had some good practices the past few weeks. The defense was a lot better and tonight we did pretty good."
The Lady Bears are back in action next week as they head to Mountain Pine on Tuesday.
