In the third quarter buckets were tough to find, as Spring Hill only managed 5 points, as Kirby closed the gap to 38-36 heading into the fourth. Ava McBrayer scored six of her 11 points in the final quarter, as the defense did a great job limiting open looks for Kirby, as they blew the game open and won by 18 points. Great team win for the Lady Bears, as this group has showcased they can win games in various fashions.Â
Kenzie Thompson led the way with 17 points for Spring Hill. Livi Tyree poured in 15 points, including two 3-pointers, and Ava McBrayer added 11 points, as these three continue to score in double-figures on a nightly basis. Laney Flowers knocked down a 3-pointer and finished the game with 4 points, Anna Flowers and Darby Coffee each scored 3 points, and Alyssa Porter and Layla Cantwell each scored 2 points to round out the scoring for Spring Hill.Â
In the Jr. Lady Bears game, Knightley Porter and LK Tuttle both had big second halves, as they each scored 9 points in the second half to propel the Lady Bears to a 37-18 win, as this group continues to stack up wins. Porter led the way with a game-high 14 points and Tuttle finished the game with 11 points. Madi Vickers finished the game with 6 points and Jorgia Coffee, Lola Coffee, and Adalyn Anderson each scored 2 points for Spring Hill.Â
The Lady Bears are back in action on Tuesday night as they host a good Bismarck squad.Â
