Dierks- In a very hectic game, the Lady Bears showed just how resilient they are as they fought back from down 6-1 to win the game 8-7 over Horatio and advance to the Finals Thursday night. In the bottom of the 7thinning Cami Porter busted it out of the box and down the line to put pressure on the SS and caused a rushed throw to reach base. Bailee Butler did a great job at the plate and made a productive out and moved Porter to 3rd on a groundout to the 2nd baseman, Porter would end up scoring on a wild pitch the following pitch to score the winning run. Erin McMaster picked up the win on the mound as she struck out 5 batters in the process. McMaster would also smack a double down the LF line at the plate. Cami Porter played a great game, including a couple of great plays at first base. Porter had 2 doubles and a single at the plate, while driving in 2 runs. Cally Sullivan was excellent Tuesday night with 3 singles and scoring 2 runs. Kelsie Thompson posted 2 extra-base hits with a triple and a double. Camryn Dickson roped a double and added another single offensively.  Bailee Butler and Ava McBrayer each had a hit for the Lady Bears. It was a great team win for Spring Hill as the offense woke-up and banged out 13 hits and brought a “No-Way We Are Losing This Game” mentality into the late innings to score multiple runs in each of the 4th, 5th, and 6th innings to get back in the game. The Lady Bears are scheduled to play Dierks in the Conference Championship Thursday.
