The Lady Cats had perhaps the best season yet in Lady Cats history, with a lot of help from two amazing seasons from Jasmin Rodriguez and Mariana Turcios. Jasmin was a staple in the defense for Hope this past season, but she also scored one of the more spectacular goals I witnessed all year long in DeQueen as she found the back of the net from over 30 yards out. Mariana Turcios was a stud defender this season for the Lady Cats and scored 2 goals against Nashville in conference play to secure the win for the Lady Cats. These two seniors will be greatly miss next season, as they were also great team leaders for this team. We at SWARK Today want to say congratulations to Jasmin Rodriguez and Marina Turcios for earning All-State awards.
