Lady Cats Post 3-2 Win Over Warren
Hope- It was the home-opener for the Hope Soccer squads on Friday night, as they welcomed Warren on Friday night for a non-conference match. The Lady Cats (1-1) fell behind 1-0 on a goal by the Lady Lumberjacks. It did not take long for Hope to tie the game at 1-all after Brianna Maclaughlin set up sister Madelyne Maclaughlin with a nice pass, as Madelyne found the back of the net. The game would go into halftime tied at 1-1. 

Early in the second half, the Lady Cats were awarded a penalty-kick, and Esmeralda Leon perfectly executed her PK to give Hope the 2-1 lead. With the around 12 minutes remaining in the game, Brianna Maclaughlin would seal the victory with a goal of her on, to extend the Lady Cat lead to 3-1. Warren would tack on a goal late, but Hope would go on to win the game 3-2 to capture their first win of the young season. 

Friday night was another great game by Goalkeeper Angelica Soto as she continues to impress and make saves. Great team defense was on display on Friday night for the Lady Cats, led by Brency Cabriales and Cristal Aguilar, this group of defenders continue to improve. Miracle Martinez possessed the ball well and Paola Dominguez played well on the offensive side of the ball to help secure the win.

The Lady Cats are back in action on Tuesday night for the conference opener as they host Mena.
