Mena- The Lady Cats Soccer Team traveled to Mena to take on the Bearcats in a conference matchup. Hope got on the scoreboard midway through the first half on a penalty kick from Jasmin Rodriguez. The goal from Rodriguez proved to be all the scoring that the Lady Cats would need as they held on to the 1-0 lead for the victory. Great team defense and goalie play were on display Wednesday night. The Lady Cats Soccer team is definitely trending in the right direction as conference play is in full swing. The win brings the Lady Cats record to 2-0 in conference, which ties them for 1st place with Bauxite and Dequeen. The Lady Cats travel to Arkadelphia Friday for another conference matchup.
