Nashville- The Lady Cats traveled to Nashville for a soccer match Tuesday evening, the JV girls started off the evening and varsity girls followed. The JV girls won their match 3-1, as Paola Dominguez scored 2 goals and Audrey Mercado scored a goal. Great team defense as well, helped the Lady Cats secure the win in the JV game.
The Varsity Lady Cats match with Nashville ended in a 1-1 tie, as the Lady Cats played a good all-around game with tough defense and a great goal by Miracle Martinez on a nice assist from Audrey Mercado. The Lady Cats are scheduled to face off against Arkadelphia Thursday in Hope.
The Varsity Girls also played a game Monday night against Arkansas High, dropping the match 1-0 to the visiting Lady Razorbacks. A great defensive game from the Lady Cats Monday night, just could not get much going offensively that night. Great defense was on display and the team is trending upwards as the Lady Cats get prepared for Conference play starting soon.
