Lady Cats Take on Camden-Fairview & Magnolia
Hope- The Hope Lady Cats hosted Camden Fairview on Tuesday night in a conference matchup. The Lady Cats displayed great defense on Tuesday night, as they held the Lady Cardinals to just 37% shooting and only allowed three three pointers. The Lady Cats offense had a tough night getting buckets, but they did continue to find ways to get to the free throw line as they made 23 free throws on Tuesday. The Lady Cats had a tough time with turnovers on Tuesday and that was too much to overcome as Hope would fall short to Fairview 62-38. 

Once the offense comes around for the Lady Cats the wins will start piling up, as the Lady Cats effort and hustle on the defensive end is second-to-none. 

Khalaya Randle would scorch the nets on Tuesday for 17 points to lead the Hope offense, Randle also added 9 rebounds. Samiya Monk scored 8 points and was a perfect 4/4 from the free throw line. Nakiya Prevo would score 3 points for the Lady Cats, Alexis McDuffy, Bethany White, Tanasia Young, and Mahongani Ellis would each score 2 points for the Lady Cats, and Chaniya Williams would hit a free throw to score 1 point. Tanasia Young would also add 9 rebounds. 

The Lady Cats traveled to Magnolia on Wednesday night for a tough conference matchup as they would drop the game, 53-24. Alexis McDuffy would lead the Lady Cats with 11 points on Wednesday night, Alexis got to the free throw line throughout the game as she shot 11/16 from the line. Khalaya Randle would score 8 points and grab 6 boards for Hope, Samiya Monk had 3 points, and Christina Rodriguez added 2 points. 

The Lady Cats are back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Malvern.
