Lady Cats Top GMCS on Thursday Night
Hope- The Lady Cats played host to the Garrett Memorial Lady Saints on Thursday night in a non-conference game to raise awareness for cancer research. The Lady Cats jumped out to an early 8-0 lead and added to it throughout the game, as the Lady Cats would win the game 15-0. The Lady Cats had a great night at the plate, as four Lady Cats had multi-hit games, Ava Brown, Yoshigei Gonzales, Bella Elliott, and Makenzie Cox each had multiple hits for Hope. Brown led the team with 3 RBI, as she reached base all 3 at-bats, and Makenzie Cox had 2 RBI. Tanasia Young had a hit for Hope and 2 RBI. Maddison Brown, Payton Rhodes, and Mycah Bradley all had hits for Hope. The Lady Cats also had six stolen bases. 

Charity Zumwalt led the way at the plate for GMCS as she had a single and swiped a bag. Heaven Garcia drew a walk and stole a base. 

The Lady Cats have Sr. Night this Tuesday and the Lady Saints season is over, as they had their state tournament this past week.
