Audrey Mercado got the scoring going early for the Lady Cats as she found the back of the net for the first time this season. Miracle Martinez would add to the Hope lead a few minutes later, as she scored to extend the Lady Cats lead to 2-0. Madelyne Maclaughlin scored her first goal of the night in the opening half to give the Lady Cats a 3-0 lead. Right before half, Nashville scored a goal with 5 seconds remaining in the half to cut the Lady Cats lead to 3-1 at the break. Other than that miscue right before the half, the defense displayed a great brand of soccer. Brency Cabriales played extremely well again, along with Cristal Aguilar and Esmeralda Leon. Angelica Soto continues to impress at goalkeeper, as she made multiple saves on Tuesday night.
Madelyne Maclaughlin would go on to score her second goal of the match, as Miracle Martinez found her with a nice pass. The defense would hold Nashville scoreless in the second half to secure the 4-1 win. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 1-2 in conference play.
