Lady Dragons Beat Bismarck 8-5
Bismarck- The Genoa Central Lady Dragons went traveled to Bismarck for a conference game against the Lady Lions. Genoa trailed 5-2 heading into the 5th inning and then the bats woke up, scoring 1 run in the 5th, 3 more in the 6th, and 2 more in the last inning to grab the lead. Pitcher Emily McGuire came in relief in the 3rd inning and was nails for the Lady Dragons, as she tossed 5 innings of no-hit ball, only allowing one walk. 

Rylee Fike got the start in the circle for the Lady Dragons, allowing 5 runs and striking out 1. 

At the plate, Genoa banged out 13 hits as a team with Emily McGuire racking up 4 hits including a triple and an RBI. Kelsie Fowler and Ali Pierce each had a 2-hit night at the plate, with Pierce smoking two doubles. Fowler had 2 singles and a walk. Brenley Ward had a great night at the dish, reaching base safely in all four plate appearances with a single and 3 walks, while adding 2 RBI. Rylee Fike and Kenzie Owen each had a single and a walk. Fike added an RBI. Macey Williams and Jessyca Thompson each had a single. 

Genoa Central is back in action on Tuesday night as they look to improve to 2-1 in conference play against Centerpoint.
