Genoa Central grabbed a commanding 27-8 lead at the break, once again displaying some great defense, limiting the Lady Hornets to hardly any good looks. The Lady Dragons would cruise to a 51-39 win to improve to 5-2 in league play.
Brooklyn Cox led the way with 13 points. Emily McGuire poured in 10 points, including a pair of threes. Kinsley Hollensworth scored six of her eight in the second half. Kenzie Owen scored seven, Macey Williams scored five, Chrissie Ellis finished with four, and both Rylee Fike and Turley each scored two.
The Lady Dragons are sitting in third place in the conference.
