Four Lady Dragons were in double-figures and Genoa Central shot very well from the free-throw line thoughout the game, combining to make 15 free throws throughout the game, including Kelsie Fowler going 11/14 from the line.
Brenley Ward led the way for the Lady Dragons with 20 points, including knocking down four 3-pointers. Kelsie Fowler poured in 19 points, 9 of which came in the fourth quarter. Rylee Fike scored 14 points and Ali Pierce poured in 11 points. Kenzie Owen and Jessyca Thompson each scored 6 points, and Brooklyn Cox chipped in 2 points.
Great team win for the Lady Dragons, as they get to continue a great season. A season in which witnessed the most wins of any Genoa Central team in the last seven years and the Lady Dragons first trip to Regionals since 2021.
