Lady Dragons Earn a Huge Conference Road Win in Bismarck Tuesday Night
Bismarck- The Lady Dragons hit the road on Tuesday night, as they walked into Bismarck sitting at 1-1 in conference play, looking for a big road win. After 32 minutes of tough, physical play, the Lady Dragons escaped a hostile environment with a big 54-50 win over the Lady Lions to improve to 2-1 in conference play. Genoa struggled a bit getting buckets in the opening quarter, but exploded in the 2nd quarter for 20 points behind 10 points from Kelsie Fowler to go into halftime with a 28-20 lead. Genoa's defense would hold Bismarck to just 11 points in the third, as they took a 10 point lead into the 4th quarter. The Lady Dragon's fought and clawed their way through the fourth quarter to a huge 4-point road victory.

Two Lady Dragons posted double-doubles, as Kelsie Fowler scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, and Rilee Fike scored 13 points and pulled down 10 boards. Brenley Ward and Ali Pierce each scored 9 points for the Lady Dragons and Brooklyn Cox added 4 points. 

The Lady Dragons are back in action next week as they head to Fouke on Jan. 14th.
