Ashdown jumped out early and at one point held a 17-point lead against the Lady Dragons. Genoa fought back valiantly in this contest, but the comeback was cut short, as they dropped a tough conference game 46-42. 

Kelsie Fowler torched the nets for 13 points, to lead the Lady Dragons in scoring. Ali Pierce dropped 10 points, inlcuding 8 of her points in the 4th quarter. Rylee Fike and Brooklyn Cox each scored 7 points, while Kenzie Owen added 2, and Brenley Ward hit a free throw. 

Genoa is back in action on Friday as they host Bismarck in a very big conference game.
