Smothering defense and timely buckets were crucial in the Lady Dragons 52-45 win over the Lady Knights. 

Genoa Central had lead going into the half, but exploded for 21 points in the 4th quarter to put the game away. Brooklyn Cox and Rylee Fike combined for 36 points, including 15 combined in the 4th, as Cox scored 20 with Fike scoring 16. Kenzie Owen scored 6, Kinsley Hollensworth scored 5, Macey Williams 3, and Emily McGuire added 1. 

The Lady Dragons will look to build off this win next week, as they sit at 4-2 in league play.
