Emily McGuire got the nod from Coach Sanders and went the distance in the pitchers' circle, striking out 5 batters, and allowing just one earned run.
The Lady Dragons banged out 15 hits and drew 4 walks, as well as have four more batters reach first base due to HBP. Rylee Fike smoked a ball past the center-fielder and and raced around the bases for an inside-the-park HR. Fike also added a single. Kenzie Owen had a great night at the plate, as she was a nightmare for the Lady Rattler pitchers, reaching base safely four times smacking a double, two singles, and also drawing a walk. Anna McCrary drove in 4 runs on a double and a single, as she came through in some big situations. Ali Pierce and Brenley Ward each had multi-hit games, as they combined to reach base safely five times. Emily McGuire added a single for the Lady Dragons. Once again, the Lady Dragons tormented the opposition on the basepaths, racking up 10 stolen bases.
