Lady Dragons Use Big 2nd Half to Win Hard Fought Game Against Lady Wolves Thursday Night
Genoa- In a big matchup between the visiting Lady Wolves and the Lady Dragons, the fans got their moneys worth in a game that was tight from the tip all the way until the final buzzer. Multiple lead changes occurred and the players on both sides left it all on the floor. 

Prescott took a 27-23 advantage into the half behind a 13-point effort in the first half by Rylee Williams, as she and Rylee Fike from Genoa Central were battling full-court all game long. Genoa came out of the break and outscored the Lady Wolves 14-10 in the third quarter to knot the game at 37-37 heading into the final quarter. 

In the final quarter, senior Kelsie Fowler got going for the Lady Dragons, as she poured in 10 of her team-high 16 points in the 4th quarter. The Lady Dragons did an excellent job crashing the boards late and rebounding, as they outscored Prescott 20-11 in the final quarter to secure the big conference win 57-48.

Kelsie Fowler led the way for the Lady Dragons as she scored 16 points and grabbed some big rebounds down the stretch. Ali Pierce poured in 14 points. After the game Ali Pierce spoke on the big win, "We watched a lot of film, we talked through everything at the half, we had a game plan and we executed it well." Brooklyn Cox and Jessyca Thompson each had 7 points, Rylee Fike finished the game with 6 points, Kenzie Owen added 3 points, and Ashlyn Cross and Brenley Ward each scored 2 points. 

Rylee Williams put up a game-high 27 points for the Lady Wolves, as she did a great job getting to the free-throw line late in the game, as well as converting some tough buckets. Nieddu scored 7 points for Prescott, R'Moni Jamerson scored 6 points, Jessica Ortiz scored 4 points and Emari Britton hit a 3-pointer for the Lady Wolves. 

Genoa is back in action on Friday as they host Smackover and Prescott will travel to Ashdown, as both are conference matchups.
