Lady Hornets Beat Umpire Thursday Night
Blevins- The Lady Hornets hosted Umpire on Senior Night and came away with a big 50-31 conference win. The Lady Hornets used great defense in the second quarter to extend their lead before halftime, allowing just 2 points to Umpire in the second quarter. Blevins held a 30-13 lead at the break and denied any chances of a comeback in the second half. 

Kentana Williamson and Audrey Lovette combined for 25 points on Thursday, as Williamson poured in 13 points and Lovette scored 12. Both players also got after it on the defensive end of the floor. 

Kennedy Gray and Za'Niya Scott both scored 5 points for Blevins, while Alaya Carrigan and Amya Phillips both scored 4 points, Nevaeh Johnson scored 3, and Mikaya Manning and Keyla Diaz each scored 2 points. 

The Lady Hornets are back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Nevada for a big conference matchup with the Lady Jays.
