Blevins would have a much better second-half, as they used an 18-point fourth quarter to take the lead late and clinch the victory, behind some great shooting from Emilee Davis, as she poured in three 3-pointers in the 4th quarter, as that propelled Blevins to outscore Nevada 28-18 in the 2nd half.Â
Kentana Williamson led the Lady Hornets with 14 points, including 7 points late in the second half. Emilee Davis poured in 12 points, Audrey Lovette finished the game with 8 points, and Amiya Phillips had 4 points.Â
For the Lady Jays, Jordin Haley led all scorers with 15 points along with 14 rebounds. Karleigh Carlton shot the ball very well scoring 12 points on 4 three-pointers. Gabby Evans had 7 points and 5 steals, and Zyirannah Vines and Zette Brown each had 2 points.Â
The Lady Hornets are back in action on Tuesday against Gurdon and Nevada is back in action on Wednesday as they host Umpire.Â
