After the game, Coach Eddie Beck spoke on the win, "Definitely good to start out 1-0, we were patient at the plate, we were aggressive tonight and Jillian did a good job tonight, had a lot of swing and miss tonight."

Reagan Gammage led the way at the plate for the Lady Jays with 3 hits and 2 RBIs. Pinner added a hit, and Trinity Kendall hit a line drive single. Jocelyn Autry reached base 4 times as she had a hit and had 3 walks, scoring 3 runs.
