Bearden- The Nevada Lady Jays notched their third conference win Thursday night as they topped Bearden 51-49 in a nail-biter. Nevada improved to 3-7 in conference with just a few games left before the conference tourney. Ke'Asia Pearson lit up the scoreboard for 27 points on Thursday. Kadiya Curry scored 11 points and Jordin Haley added 9 points. The Lady Jays played great defense all game, and it was a great effort between Faith Gibbs, Yasmine Harris, and Karleigh Carlton as they did a great job locking down Bearden's best two players to just 11 points. Great team win and the Lady Jays are back in action Friday as they host Friendship-Aspire. The Lady Jays are looking to get hot at the right time of the year, as they have their sights set on a deep playoff-run.
