The Lady Jays handled the opening set 25-14, but the Lady Bears fought back in the 2nd set and got the match very close before Nevada won 25-21. The final set it was all Nevada as they won 25-7.
Alisha Gulley was serving up aces like a blackjack dealer on Monday, with a season-high 15 aces. Savannah Fields and Zette Brown each had 3 kills, with Zette adding 8 aces. CJ McCallie had 6 aces, 3 digs, and a kill. Bella English had 3 aces and a pair of kills, with Gabby Evans adding two digs and Bella Petite having 2 aces.
For Spring Hill, Zoey Varner played a really great game, especially around the net. Ava McCoy continued to play very well, with Jorgia Coffee, Ella Flowers, Mazie Calhoun and Lilly Robb each serving the ball at a high level.
In the Jr. game, Spring Hill won a hard-fought contest 25-12, 20-25, and 15-10. For the Jr. Bears AJ Foster, LK Tuttle, Jade Joy, and Lola Coffee played extremely well. For Nevada, Bailey Raney had 5 aces and 1 dig, Fiona Srebalus had 5 aces, while Braxtyn Ghormley had 4 aces. Raelyn Sampson played great with 2 kills and 2 aces.
