The Lady Jays trailed 1-0 after the first inning, but the bats woke up in the top half of the 2nd inning, as Nevada put up a 5-spot. The Lady Jays would add 4 more runs in the 4th and 5 more runs in the 6th. All nine players for the Lady Jays scored runs on Friday. Trinity Kendall reached base safely 3 times and scored all three times. The bottom half of the lineup did an excellent job of getting the scoring going in the 2nd inning.
Jill Pinner went the distance in the pitchers' circle and was dominant as she struck out 16 batters. At one point Pinner punched out 5 batters in a row.
