Lady Saints are Headed to the State Championship with 56-42 Win
Shawnee, OK- GMCS is headed to the State Championship on Friday after a convincing 14-point win over The Cross on Thursday. The score does not reflect the game, as the Lady Saints built up a 30-point lead and coasted in the second-half. The Lady Saints got production from everyone and they look to keep this going for 1 more game, as they are set to play Hillsdale on Friday at 12:30 at Oklahoma Baptist. 

Mikayla Fields and Laikyn Mitchell both scored in double-figures, as Mikayla posted another double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Laikyn scored 14 points and grabbed 6 boards. Most of those stats coming from the first-half. Silbi Jones came off the bench and scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Gracy Martin and Charity Zumwalt each scored 5 points, as Gracy added 3 rebounds, and Charity added 4 assists and 4 rebounds. Baylee Pogue had 2 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists as she continues to play well. Evan Chambless grabbed 6 rebounds and dished out 2 assists. Kynlee Glass added 6 rebounds, Ella Eskridge had 4 rebounds, and Kayla Marroquin had 2 rebounds and 1 steal. 

Tip-off for the State Championship is set for 12:30.
