With the win, the Lady Saints have now increased their winning streak to 8 consecutive games. After the win, Raylee Adkison spoke on the win and how well they've been playing as of late, "Very exciting, beating a way bigger school than us, nice to keep the streak going."

Silbi Jones got the nod from Coach Marty Porter on Monday night, as she has been lights out in the circle lately. Jones gave up some hits Monday, as they Lady Cats swung the bats extremely well, but Silbi did a great job of staying composed and got the win. Jones struck out 10 batters in the win. 

Madison Brown started for Coach Daniel's squad in the pitchers' circle and scattered 11 hits and struck out 2 Lady Saints. 

At the plate for GMCS, Baylee Pogue had some big knocks throughout the game, as she had 4 hits and drove in runs. Kylie Bullock had 2 hits and and RBI. Silbi Jones had a hit and 2 RBI. Raylee Adkison and Blayklee Glass each had a hit and an RBI. Defensively, both Glass and Adkison made numerous plays in the field, including Blayklee making a highlight reel-like play at second diving and backhanding a ball and throwing the runner out. Heaven Garcia had a single and an RBI and Josie Pinner stayed hot at the plate adding another hit and RBI, as she has had some nice at-bats lately for GMCS. Gracie Bullock did a great job getting on base out of the leadoff spot, scoring 3 runs. 

For Hope, Kennedy Phillips had an inside-the-park homerun, as she added a triple as well and drove in 3 runs. Tanasia Young had a 3 hit game, as she hit the ball hard in every at-bat. Bella Elliott followed up her 4-hit game last week with another 3-hit game on Monday with an RBI. Mycah Bradley hit a couple of rockets and drove in a run. Chyna Tolliver, Madison Brown, Jamie Young, and Madison Phillips each had a hit for Hope. 

GMCS is back on the diamond on Thursday as they host Trinity Christian. Hope is back in action on Tuesday against Nashville.
