Lady Saints Begin Season with 20-Point Win Over Stephens Christian
Hope- It was the season-opener for GMCS Lady Saints Hoops on Tuesday night and they started the season off with a bang as they topped Stephens Christian 36-16. A great defensive performance by the Lady Saints led to a big season-opening victory. Kat Morris posted a big double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds, as she led the Lady Saints in both categories. Baylee Pogue poured in 10 points for the Lady Saints and grabbed 6 rebounds as she showcased a great game. Gracy Martin scored 9 points and added 5 assists, and grabbed 4 boards for GMCS, and showed off her well-rounded game. Raylee Adkison, Silbi Jones, and Brailyn Almand each got a bucket for the Lady Saints to round out the scoring. Jones had 4 rebounds and 3 assists, while Adkison grabbed 3 rebounds of her own and dished out 1 assists. Heaven Garcia had 1 assist and 1 steal, while Kylie Bullock, Kynlee Glass, Addy Peek, and Ella Eskridge each grabbed a rebound. 

The Lady Saints are back in action on Monday as they travel to CMA.
