Hot Springs- GMCS traveled to Hot Springs Monday for a match with Gospel Light. The varsity team had a rough opening set, but fought back and lost a 2 very close sets (25-21)(25-23). Mikayla Fields led the attack for the Lady Saints with 3 aces and 4 kills. Gracy Martin added an ace and 2 kills, with Silbi Jones contributing 1 ace and 2 kills. The JV team won in straight sets 25-17 and 25-6. The Jr. High team lost both sets 25-21 and 25-19 in two very competitive games. Brailyn Almand had 2 aces and 2 kills, and Savannah Fields had 2 kills. The Lady Saints play host to Westside Thursday with the Jr. High game beginning at 4:30 and the Varsity Match to follow.
