Lady Saints Pull Away from CMA Late in 48-35 Win

Hope- The Lady Saints came out and had one of their better performances of the year, as they turned a lot of defense into offense on Thursday night in their 48-35 win. It was a 3-point game in the fourth quarter, but Gracy Martin and Kat Morris got some big steals late in the game and pushed the ball down the floor for some easy buckets. Another key component in the win was Silbi Jones and Baylee Pogue grabbing rebounds and getting the ball to the other end very quickly, as that counted for a high percentage of the Lady Saints points Thursday night.

Kat Morris led GMCS in scoring with 18 points and also grabbed 8 boards. Gracy Martin had 14 points and Silbi Jones scored 11 points, as she shot the ball very well from 3-point range. Jones also added 4 rebounds. Baylee Pogue had 5 points and 4 rebounds and Raylee Adkison added 2 points. Brailyn Almand had 2 rebounds and 1 assists and Heaven Garcia added a rebound, as Garcia was in foul trouble for most of the night.

GMCS is back in action on Friday as they play Sherwood.
