Tournament MVP Silbi Jones was excellent for GMCS throughout the entire day, as she did a great job of hitting her spots and fielding her position. Catcher Kylie Bullock caught all three games and was great behind the plate defensively, as her and Jones were on the same page all day. The defense was very good throughout the day for the Lady Saints, as they made the plays needed to hold the opposition to just 6 runs in 3 games. Shortstop Raylee Adkison and 2nd baseman Blayklee Glass each made numerous plays throughout the day, as they were error free up the middle throughout the tournament.

GMCS 14 SCA 2
The Lady Saints came out swinging early on, as they put up a 10 spot in the 1st inning and cruised to a 12-run victory. Silbi Jones and Gracie Bullock pitched for GMCS in this one as they did a solid job. At the plate, Silbi Jones had 3 hits and 4 RBI. Baylee Pogue had a pair of hits and 3 RBI. Kylie Bullock had a hit and 3 RBI. Blayklee Glass had a hit and 2 RBI. Kynlee Glass finished the first game with a hit, 2 RBI, and she also swiped a pair of bases. Lilly Murphy and Josie Pinner each had a stolen base and a run. Gracie Bullock, Rose Eskridge , Heaven Garcia, Kat Morris, and Raylee Adkison each scored runs for GMCS.
GMCS 4 ACA 1
Silbi Jones was excellent and the defense behind her was lights out, as they limited a very good hitting team to just 3 hits and the defense made zero errors in their 3-run win, as they would advance to the finals with this win to await the winner or ACA and Abundant Life. Jones finished the game with 10 Ks and allowed just 1 ER. At the plate the Lady Saints did a great job of working the count and drawing . walks. Baylee Pogue roped an RBI double to get the scoring going as she brought in Kynlee Glass from third base. The pitching and defense and some timely runs won this game for GMCS as they would advance to the championship. At the plate, Silbi Jones led the way with 2 hits and an RBI. Baylee Pogue had an RBI double, and Kat Morris and Raylee Adkison each had an RBI for GMCS. Kynlee Glass scored 2 runs.
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. GMCS 4 ACA 3
The rematch between these two teams was as expected, it came down to the wire. Backstory on this matchup, earlier in the year in Ft. Smith, these two teams tied due to a drop-dead time limit rule. In their second matchup at ACA, the Lady Knights dominated GMCS 19-1. But on Saturday the Lady Saints got a trophy out of their big win, as Silbi Jones silenced the ACA bats twice in one day to secure the championship. Jones began the game 10 up and 10 down, as she did a great job showcasing some swing and miss stuff, as well as getting some soft contact, as she had 4 putouts at first, Raylee Adkison made a couple of great plays at short and Blayklee Glass fielded everything hit to her for an out as well. An infield single and a mishap on a bunt coverage led to the Lady Knights scoring in the 4th inning to cut into the Lady Saints lead, but Silbi buckled down when needed and got a grounder hit back to her to stop the ACA threat. Jones would get some help from 1st baseman Baylee Pogue as she made a great stop and tossed the ball to Glass who was covering first for a big out in the final inning. Silbi would get the final batter on a groundout to win the game. Jones finished the game with 2 Ks, 2 ER, only allowed 1 hit and walked zero in the win. At the plate, the Lady Saints had to work hard for their runs, as they left the bases loaded once and another inning had a base-running mishap to kill a threat to score. At the plate, hits were hard to come by, but they worked their way on base, as they drew a lot of walks and put pressure on the defense. Kylie Bullock had a hit, Kat Morris had a hit. Kynlee Glass had an RBI, Blayklee Glass reached base on a ground ball and scored a run and swiped a bag. Baylee Pogue had an RBI, while lead-off hitter Gracie Bullock scored twice and had a stolen base. Brailyn Almand drew a walk for GMCS.
It was a great tourney for the Lady Saints, as they played a great brand of softball on Saturday.
