Lady Wolves Beat Jessieville 14-3

Bismarck- The Lady Wolves started off their Conference Tournament with a run-rule victory over Jessieville by a score of 14-3 to extend their season and advance to the next round. Lainey Roberts pitched very well Friday, earning the win while only allowing 3 runs and striking out 3 batters in 5 innings. Roberts also made a stellar play with her glove as she caught a line drive in the 1st inning and threw to 1st for a double play to end the inning. Prescott also got the bats going early and often as they banged out 10 hits, Lainey Roberts and Kyla Joseph each having 2 hits and an RBI. Lilly McKinnon and Kadence Formby each had a double and an 2 RBIs apiece. Carlee Glass had a huge 2-run double to blow the game open after Kailee Reese was intentionally walked. Reese also added an RBI single. Jodee McKinnon had 2 RBIs and a single, while Harlee Faulkner added a hit and an RBI, she also made a great play in LF defensively. The Lady Wolves take on Bismarck Monday morning at 10AM in Haskell with the winner advancing to face Genoa Central in the Tournament Semi-Finals and also the winner Prescott and Bismarck earns a birth in the Regional Tournament next week.
