Prescott- The Lady Cats traveled to Prescott on Wednesday night for a non-conference game. Lainey Robbins and Grace Trauger locked up early on as the game was scoreless until the bottom of the 4th inning when Prescott scraped across a run to give the Lady Wolves a 1-0 lead. The Lady Wolves would continue to add runs as they scored 2 runs in both the 5th and 6th innings. Hope would go on to score 2 in the top of the 7th inning to make the final score 5-2 in favor of Prescott. Lainey Robbins was fantastic on Wednesday, as she was doing a great job hitting her spots and keeping the Lady Cats off-balance. Lainey finished the game with 5 strikeouts and zero walks, and only allowing 5 hits. Grace finished the game with 4 K's in 6 innings of work.Â
Kyla Joseph continues to stay hot at the plate, as she had another multi-hit game with a double, 2 singles, and she drove in 1 run. Harlee Faulkner smashed a double, and Lainey Robbins, Kadence Formby, Jodee McKinnon, and Kaygen Klutts each had a single for Prescott.Â
Both the Lady Cats and Lady Wolves are playing this weekend in the D-Mac tournament held in Hope.Â
