Lady Wolves Claim 2nd Place in D-MAC Tourney
Hope- The Prescott Lady Wolves displayed an excellent brand of softball this past weekend at the D-Mac Tournament in Hope, as they went 2-1 on the weekend, with wins over Spring Hill and Arkadelphia. The Lady Wolves offense was firing on all cylinders all weekend, including Kadence Formby smashing not one, but two Grand-Slams this weekend. Pitcher Dacey Faulkner did a great job in the circle pitching for Coach Godwin's squad. Below are the game to game stats

Prescott started off the tourney with a 17-0 win over Spring Hill. Dacey Faulkner tossed 3 innings of no-hit ball and struck out 1 and only allowed one walk. At the plate Dacey had 3 hits and 4 RBI. Kadence Forby blasted a no-doubt grand slam and added another single. Harlee Faulkner roped a triple and a single. Grayson Jackson had a single and 2 RBI, Kyla Joseph had a double and an RBI, while Carlee Glass added a hard-hit single.

In game 2 of the weekend, the Lady Wolves took care of business against the Lady Badgers, as they won the game 7-4 to advance to the Championship game behind a solid outing from Dacey Faulkner and some good defensive plays, as well as another Grand Slam from Kadence Formby, who was on fire all weekend. Formby would finish the game with 5 RBI and added a double. Carlee Glass collected another hit and an RBI, while Heidi Wiley had an RBI single.

In the championship game, there was no shortage of offense for either team, as the Lady Wolves and Mount Vernon-Enola would battle it out for the championship. Prescott would fall just short of the win, as they lost 13-11 in a very eventful game. Jodee McKinnon led the way at the plate with 3 hits and 2 RBI. Dacey Faulkner had a double and a single and 2 RBI. Kadence Formby and Heidi Wiley each had a single and an RBI, while Harlee Faulkner and Kaygan Klutts each had singles.

Great weekend for the Lady Wolves on the diamond and you can find them back in action on March 31st against Camden HG in a conference game.
