Haskell- Prescott had a Semi-Final matchup against the #1 Seed Genoa Central with a chance to advance to the Conference Championship to take on Fouke. The Lady Wolves gave Genoa a much closer game than many expected as Lainey Robbins pitched another great game Monday and the defense showed out once again holding the Lady Dragons to just 2 runs. Robbins allowed just 6 hits to a very good offensive team while striking out 2. Lilly McKinnon had a great game from the plate with a double and a single. Lainey Robbins drove in the lone run for the Lady Wolves. The defense played another great game as they turned multiple double plays, including a diving catch by Kyla Joseph and doubling up the runner off of 3rd base and a nice double play up the middle from Carlee Glass and Kadence Formby. Prescott softball is trending in the right direction as they head into the regional tournament as a #4 seed that looks to be a dangerous team that could very well make a run in the tournament. The Lady Wolves play Dumas Thursday at 3PM at Genoa Central in the 1st round of the Tournament with the winner securing a spot in the State Tournament.
