In the third quarter, the Prescott defense stepped up big time, holding Blevins to just 6 points. While the Prescott defense was limiting good looks for the Lady Hornets, freshman Rylee Williams started to take over as she scored 10 points in the third quarter to help extend the Prescott lead to 51-42 heading into the final quarter. Prescott would begin turning defense into offense in the fourth quarter, as they would outscore Blevins 21-9 in the fourth quarter to win the game 72-51.
Rylee Williams led all scorers with 34 points, including 23 in the second half on Thursday night, as she continues to display a great level of skill and IQ. Emari Britton finished the game with 18, including four 3-pointers. Jessica Ortiz scored 8 points and R'Moni Jamerson scored 7 points. Meesha Burton added 4 points and Mimi Ellis scored 1.Â
For the Lady Hornets, Kentana Williamson scored 23 points to lead the Blevins in scoring. Audrey Lovette finished the night with 15 points, as both Williamson and Lovette continue to step-up for the Lady Hornets offense. Amaya Phillips scored 8 points, Za'Niya Scott added 4 points, and Keyla Diaz and Mikaya Manning each scored 1.Â
