Lady Wolves Pull Away Late Against Lady Hornets
Blevins- The Lady Wolves headed to Blevins on Thursday night for a non-conference game against the Lady Hornets and both teams put on a great showing. A lot of offense throughout the night from both squads, beginning in the first quarter when Prescott poured in 25 points, including 11 from Emari Britton, as she maded 3 three-pointers in the opening quarter to give the Lady Wolves a 25-18 lead in the 1st quarter. The second quarter, the Lady Hornets outscored Prescott 18- 13, as Kentana Williamson and Audrey Lovette would both score in double-figures in the first half. The first half would end with Prescott clinging to a 38-36 lead, behind 16 points from Emari Britton and 12 points from Rylee Williams at the break. 

In the third quarter, the Prescott defense stepped up big time, holding Blevins to just 6 points. While the Prescott defense was limiting good looks for the Lady Hornets, freshman Rylee Williams started to take over as she scored 10 points in the third quarter to help extend the Prescott lead to 51-42 heading into the final quarter. Prescott would begin turning defense into offense in the fourth quarter, as they would outscore Blevins 21-9 in the fourth quarter to win the game 72-51.

Rylee Williams led all scorers with 34 points, including 23 in the second half on Thursday night, as she continues to display a great level of skill and IQ. Emari Britton finished the game with 18, including four 3-pointers. Jessica Ortiz scored 8 points and R'Moni Jamerson scored 7 points. Meesha Burton added 4 points and Mimi Ellis scored 1. 

For the Lady Hornets, Kentana Williamson scored 23 points to lead the Blevins in scoring. Audrey Lovette finished the night with 15 points, as both Williamson and Lovette continue to step-up for the Lady Hornets offense. Amaya Phillips scored 8 points, Za'Niya Scott added 4 points, and Keyla Diaz and Mikaya Manning each scored 1.
