Freshman Rylee Williams led the way with 28 points for Prescott, including 3/3 from three-point range, as well as 5/6 from the free throw line. Emari Britton scored 14 points and hit four 3-pointers. Jessica Ortiz had 8 points, R'Moni Jamerson added 4 points, and Laila Smallwood added 2.Â
For the Lady Cats, Khalaya Randle led the way with 10 points. Samiya Monk scored 5 points, Alexis McDuffy and Kelcy Carrigan each scored 2 points, while Nakiya Prevo added a free throw. Randle also grabbed a game-high 9 rebounds.Â
In the Jr. Boys game, Prescott beat Hope 35-20. Desmond Prater led the way with 15 points and Tallynn Helmick added 11 points. The Jr. teams of both Prescott and Hope should have really good seasons.Â
The Lady Wolves are back in action on Monday as they host Arkansas High. Hope will play in New Boston next Friday.Â
