Steve Lance, Owner/Principal Broker of Lance & Associates, said joining this national organization was just another way to provide more of their top service to clients. “We’ve always held ourselves to a high standard of business practice and ethics,” Lance said. “Honesty is important, and I’ve got a good team surrounding me who believes the same way. NAR professionals adhere to a strict code of ethics, so our missions complement each other well.”

Executive Broker/Office Manager Lindsey Townsend said the team has already seen some benefits to joining the NAR. “In addition to giving our clients some gains in dealing with real estate, we’ve also obtained a few advantages of being a member of NAR,” Townsend said. “We are now part of a multi-listing service (MLS) so our listings are going out to agents all over the state, and we’re already getting calls from those agents located further out who want to show our properties.” Townsend said learning the new software was a challenge she met enthusiastically, because these changes are exciting and very worthwhile to the team and their clients. “It’s a whole new world,” she said. 

As a result of this new membership, soon Lance & Associates will have the term Realtor and the well-recognized R symbol (see below) that represents NAR to add to their site and marketing materials. All of this is just in time for the Christmas Community Coffee that Lance & Associates is hosting Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in their office at 411 W Ave C in Hope. The team will be there to answer questions about this new chapter, as well as provide food and a little Christmas spirit for the last Chamber Community Coffee of the year.
