On Monday, the Hope Lions Club heard from Hope Band Director Christian Davis. Davis spoke on the growth and accomplishments the band has made over the past year. The band has students from fifth through twelfth grades. The club also heard from Steven Russell, one of the Hope Band Booster Auxiliary members. Both Davis and Russell highly encourage the community to support the local bands by either attending performances, giving monetary donations, and participating in fundraising.
